Blue Gold: World Water Wars (90 minutes): In every corner of the globe, we are polluting, diverting, pumping and wasting our limited supply of fresh water at an exponential level as population and technology grows. The rampant overdevelopment of agriculture, housing and industry increase the demands for fresh water well beyond the finite supply, resulting in the desertification of the earth.

Corporate giants force developing countries to privatize their water supply for profit. Wall Street investors target desalination and mass bulk water export schemes. Corrupt governments use water for economic and political gain. Military control of water emerges and a new geopolitical map and power structure forms, setting the stage for world water wars.

Mega Quarry Film: Save Our Water (6 minutes): Do you care about the safety and integrity of Ontario’s drinking water? We do and so should you. Check out this piece to get the facts on the Highland Companies’ application for a mega quarry in the Hills of the Headwaters. The proposed quarry would be bigger than most cities and 1.5 times the depth of Niagara Falls. The location is an hour outside Canada’s largest city, at the source of Ontario’s pristine watersheds.
